Photography: Cashman
We had to use Cashman because we held the ceremony through the Bellagio wedding
department although we hired Todd for the rest of the day. Regarding the Cashman photographer, I don't have any complaints. She was very nice, even when
we told her that we weren't going to use the extra hour of photography that came with our package. She was very helpful in suggesting poses, and she clearly knew the fountain songs and was able to get us in position to take photos when they were going off. I don't have much interest in photography, but I thought the pictures she took were generally pretty good. They also did some light editing/retouching for us and all photographs were ready the following day.

After reading many reviews, I thought I was prepared for the meeting the next day when they try to sell pictures at ridiculous prices. I had a plan going in: we would pick out the photos included in our package and then try to negotiate a good price for the digital rights; if we couldn't get a good price on the digital rights, we would walk out and wait for Cashman to send an email with a reduced price and negotiate further. I thought it was a good plan...right up until the day of the meeting (the day after the wedding). I completely failed to consider what I would feel like after getting married; i.e. 4 nights of drinking and no sleep. When we walked in, the representative told us that we were going to watch a slideshow of our pictures. She then handed us a box of tissues and told us it was "perfectly acceptable to get emotional." All I could think in reply was that I didn't need tissues, I needed 8 hours of sleep and a round of IV fluids. Unfortunately, they were fresh out of IVs and I broke...and it wasn't even close. We bought the all-inclusive package with multiple prints and the digital rights.
Our "all-inclusive" package included the following:
2 8x10 Silver Two-Tone Beaded Picture Frames (Print sold separately)
2 20x30 printed on Deep Matte Finish Paper with Texture
1 Soft Cover Magazine Album 6x8
101 5x7 Color Enlargements
1 Photo CD of All Event Images
2 8x10 Portrait printed on Metallic Paper (these were pretty cool actually)
We paid $1,574.90 for about 45 minutes of photography (actually less that I thought it would be).

Overall, yes it sucks being forced to use an expensive photographer, but there is one good thing about Cashman: they are quick and convenient. Less than 24 hours after the ceremony, we met them on site at our hotel and they had our pictures printed out, some in various frames and some with editing/retouching, a printed photobook, and a slideshow ready to go for us. We took all of our small prints, the photobook and the CD with digital copies with us after the meeting (which was nice because the remaining guests still in town enjoyed looking at the pictures before leaving). The frames that came with our package were waiting on the porch for us when we got back from the honeymoon (yes, you have to pay for shipping even when you buy their package). So, while buying prints is expensive, there is something to be said for instant gratification.
